Passionate Actress, Talented Singer, Multi-faceted Entertainer
The Real Penni Hayes, otherwise known as Penel Hayes, is a Newark, NJ native. She has been performing for audiences since she was a child. As a little girl, she grew up singing in her church choir, which ultimately led to her love of the performing arts.
Penel studied acting at HB Studios in Manhattan, has an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts, and is a member of The Screen Actors Guild.
Her first television acting appearances were on the TV series "Law & Order" and "Oz". She also performed in the iconic films "Lean on Me", and "16 Blocks".
Penel also has experience in stage productions, and played in Music & Lyrics Theatre's "Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places". She assisted with the writing of the theme song of the musical "The Shop". Penel is currently a member of Sir Richard's Theater Ensemble, and made her debut in the sensational comedy "Surprise, I'm All Grown Up".
